Can't Find Driver for NE2000Plus (RT8029) Ethernet Adapter on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit

I've been looking everywhere so I got the Vendor ("10EC") and Device ID ("8029") from the Device in System Information went to "http://www.pcidatabase.com/" and my results were this "http://www.pcidatabase.com/search.php?device_search_str=8029&device_search=Search"

I looked at images for each device but the only one that was mine was the "NE2000Plus (RT8029) Ethernet Adapter" made by "Microdyne Corp." But the only device that matched my Device ID and Vendor was the Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC made by "Realtek Semiconductor Corp." The Device that matched was completely Incorrect as I had a Ethernet Adapter and the pictures showed it was completely wrong of what I had so I went with the "NE2000Plus (RT8029) Ethernet Adapter". I can't find drivers for this device so I was going to ask the community where i could find such a driver. This device was so out of date that it was in a Target Blue-light Windows 98 Machine. But I wanted to put it in good use for my computer on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit as it has some PCI Ports left on the Dell Optiplex 745 which I was going to make a Shared Network.

My Device Looked Like this(NE2000Plus (RT8029) Ethernet Adapter): "http://mujweb.cz/amiga1200/temp/realtek8029as.jpg"

The Device that matched my Vendor and Device ID but was completely wrong of what I had("Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC"): "http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51mCGdaWdZL.jpg"

Update: I checked Device Manager and the Device had no Driver Availble as it searched Online.

Also I noticed there is a Realtek Symbol on the Device but it's not from Realtek as I looked on the website.

You seem to be going to a lot of trouble trying to get a 10 mb/s card to work. Is it worth it? If you need another ethernet port just spend a few dollars on a gigabit ethernet card and get 100 times more throughput.

Well all I really need it the driver plus I'm just going for the free stuff right now cause I just got this computer from the back and thought it would be nice to give out free internet from a old system sense I have a extra router which was Belkin as well that was replaced with our new Arris Router. I got Windows 8 through the Windows 8 Installation Media Tool and replaced Windows XP Proffesional 64-Bit (x64)with Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit (x64). So yeah I looked through Internet Scavenging from google for the Driver for this Adapter but I can't find it anywhere but Scam Sites.

if the pc has internet access this is the only driver tool i would recommend--far as i am aware it doesnt do all the stuff some of them do like say we found your driver click here and you get hit with a load of rubbish or are asked to buy etc

I've used this software before but it didn't detect the Device which it's completely online in Device Manager it just doesn't have a driver for it I guess.

Update: I just tried it now but it still doesn't have a driver listed for the Network Adapter.

I really doubt that anyone has bothered to write a Windows 7 or 8 driver for a card as obsolete as this. Seriously - it is only 10 mb/s; that's slow for an Internet connection let alone a LAN.

heres the windows 95 drivers but dont know how you will make it work in windows 8

try compatibility mode on the windows installer or manually pointing windows to the driver

but as already said it may just not be possible to use it in a modern pc

i am all for re using stuff --as a society we throw out so many working electronics its shameful

buts theres a limit to what can be re used and think they definitely passed that limit
