Cant find driver for Wireless USB Adaptor.

On my old HP desktop I plugged in my usb adaptor and it instantly worked. I just bought a new desktop, I plug it in and it fails to install because it cannot find/install drivers. I tried downloading the drivers onto a USB and installing them onto the PC but I only have a macbook and every driver I install is an .exe file with just writing on it (a textedit file) and nothing else. Please help! This is the USB I have:

download the mac driver, ask the manufacturer for one or return it of you can't find the proper support

exe files are for windows, not for mac, why you tried to use them on mac?

I'm not trying to use the .exe files on mac. I'm downloading them on my mac then trying to put them on my pc. I'm not trying to use this adaptor on mac... I'm trying to use it on a Pc

If they are drivers for a macbook then you're downloading a virus/scam file, luckily for you .exe effectively doesn't run on Mac.

Ah I see, you simply copy them to your PC then, .exe files are made to run on a PC (Windows OS), no need to convert them at all.
