Hello I am migrating my chassis for my PC and I cannot find the wire where you have to connect the fans. It is the fan wire where you have 3 pins going inwards and there are two lines sticking out showing that it can not go in other places. I am using the same hardware but I can not find where I have to plug the fan into.

The chassis fan connector on my motherboard takes 4 pin fans and I do not have any of those however they were previously connected.

By the way I think it was with the PSU.

I want to know where the wire I need would be connected to, the case, psu, wires included with MOBO.

I can't find the wire with the two ridges you specified. Is it with the chassis wires or the PSU?

Maybe I don't understand your description. I though you were talking about a 3 wire fan connecting to a four pin connector on the motherboard.

Are you saying you can't find the wires which connect to the chassis fans? They MAY have molex adapters pre-installed on them. If you untangle the wires you may find that you can just disconnect the molex adapters.
