Can't find HDD in My Computer

The BIOS recognises the HDD as an independent drive but not in the boot priority nor in the My Computer section of the OS.

(Using an SSD as the boot device)

Does anyone know the issue? The cables have been checked and they are in properly and the drive is working- I can feel the platters inside spinning

Is it a new drive? You may have to go into drive management and assign it etc.

Yeah the drive needs to be initialized, formatted, and assigned a drive letter. Its very easy look at this article below.

The drive is not showing in disk management??

It may show up at the bottom as unassigned storage or something worded similar.
