Can't Find HDMI Playback

I have an Alienware M17x r3 and I am not able to get any sound to play with my HDMI In function.

I am currently running:
Windows 7 (64-bit) Home edition
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.2GHz

I have been searching through many methods of how others fix their problems, but it seems everyone either has the playback device and just has to enable it or install some kind of update to fix it. For me, I don't have the HDMI in my playback devices and all those updates my computer keeps telling me that "my system doesn't meet minimum requirements". If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Re-install the GPU drivers and make sure the HDMI audio component is checked. After that go to your playback devices, select "Show disabled devices" and make sure hdmi audio is enabled.
