I just got a new headset and after plugging it in the back panel and then in the front panel, I prefer the front panel sound as its a bit louder but the quality is the same. Problem is, I want to plug my speakers in the backpanel as I wish to switch between them depending on the task.

I used to have this option on my old PC but I cant seem to find a box that I have to tick "Make front and rear output devices play two different audio streams simultaneously"

My motherboard is Asus H97M-E

Same problem here. My speakers and headphones are showing up as one audio device and I want to separate them, but the "Make front and rear output devices play two different audio streams simultaneously" option that is supposed to make that happen is missing.
