Can't find my HDD, new PC build.

I've just downloaded all drivers i need (i think) and after all of this I went to my computer to see if it seemed alright and now it doesn't seem to recognize my HDD even though it says my drivers for it are up to date. What can I do?

What is your specs? Check in disk manager and see if it needs to be formatted and setup.

Hi there ImNotASheep,

Is this a secondary drive? If it is, and it is a new one, you need to go to Disk Management and initialize -> partition and format it.
In case the drive is not recognized by Disk Management, you need to go to BIOS and see whether it is recognized over there. If not, you need to double check your connections: both SATA and power cables. You can connect the drive to a different SATA port as well.
