Hello everyone,

I know somebody else has already asked this question, but I tried all the solutions for the problem to no avail(like updating the driver, restarting, etc). The thing is I can't find Realtek HD Audio Manager in my Control Panel. Neither in the device manager. But what I have in the device manager, under Sound, video and game controllers, is Intel(R) Display Audio, NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) and Realtek(R) Audio, but no Realtek High Definition Audio. My laptop is G3 3579, i7 processor, 16gb RAM, 1TB HDD+ 256GB SSD, and NVIDIA GeForce gtx 1050ti.
Thanks in advance!

It should be listed in your start menu. No?
It is usually located in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA folder. You can also download the console here.
Ok, I downloaded it, now I see the folder. But I still can't access the interface if I want to make some changes to sound effects of the microphone or something. Also, still not showing up in Control Panel.

Check your Windows Sound (Settings/Sound/Output) and make sure it is set for your speakers and not something else; like the Nvidia Soundchip
Checked that already, I only have one thing in the Playback tab, that is Speakers/Headphones, which is also selected of course. Show Disabled/Disconnected Devices is also checked.

What I meant was, is your system using the Realteck audio for output or is it using the GTX 1050 Ti's audio output? Sometime when a new video driver is installed along with Nvidia's built-in audio driver, the system will be switched to using the Nvidia driver. That may keep the Realteck console from working if it can't see the chip being in use.

Check Device Manager/Sound, Video and Game Controllers and see if you have both audio options available. If only the Realteck is listed, then ignore the above.

Ok, so I see 'Intel(R) Display Audio' , 'NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)' , 'Realtek(R) Audio' . Should I disable nvidia's and intel's devices?
And sorry for late reply

No, I have no option available to choose from. That is, in the device manager. But I can see that, if I click on the sound icon in the taskbar, it says in brackets Realtek(R) Audio. So I suppose the problem may not be there?
