I just built a new computer with a Western Digital Caviar Blue WD10EALX 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive and Windows 7 64bit OS. During windows instillation, I made a 100gb partition for my OS and applications, and the other 900gb(833gb actually) partition was going to be for my media/files ect.
In disk management my OS partition shows up as drive C: and my CD/DVD drive shows up as drive D:, but the rest of my hard drive is listed as unallocated. I thought the way it was suppose to work was
Drive C: OS (primary)
Drive D: media/files (secondary)
Drive E: CD/DVD
How do I get windows 7 to recognize the second 833gb partition so I can use it and transfer my media/files to it from my old computer hard?
