Question Can't find SSD on Win11 Install from USB

Hi,

I have an HP 17t-cn000 laptop with a corrupt Windows 11 installation on a Bitlocker-encrypted SSD. I'd like to re-install Windows 11 clean - I've already backed up all user files. However, the installation procedure can't find my laptop's SSD. I'm using a Windows 11 USB drive created on a Windows 10 system.

The system will not reset when I boot to the SSD recovery menu (Microsoft blue screen), even after I enter the Bitlocker key - I get "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made."

I also can't seem to locate an SSD driver on HP's website here. Don't know what I'm doing wrong - Help, please. TIA.

What model SSD? Is it SATA SSD (2.5"or M.2 variant)? or is it NVME M.2 SSD ?

Try disabling secure boot and fast boot in BIOS.

Never mind - turned out to be an Optane drive. I was able to find the drivers.
