Hi everyone , 2 months ago i had a problem with my pc . When i was playing some games it suddenly shut down then restarted . I didnt pay attention because it seemed fine but since then my pc couldnt start from the first boot , i am pressing the power button and hear the classic beep then it shuts down until i press for the second time and everything works just fine . That happens everytime i try to start my pc . Yesterday i was also playing then it did the same thing (shut down , restarted ) but it did it for 4 times then it completely shut down . I try to start it but no use .. The pc only boots up without getting passed the windows logo ..nothing showing on screen , fans working , led working (powerbutton) , cleaned it from the dust still nothing and even if try to shut it down from the power button nothing happens i need to press the power button from its back .. Sorry for my bad english . I would appreciate sny help

Solution
1) Your MB has two versions, 1.0 and 2.x http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5216#ov
2) Make sure which cpu you had, fx 6300 or the fx8xxx. Because if you had the fx6300, you are ok. But if you had the fx 8xxx cpu, you should disable two or three cores in the BIOS too, check the MB manual to see how to. And later you are better to update the BIOS to newer one.
3) Disconnect the HDD, and unplug all the RAM, clear the CMOS by the jumper, make sure you unplug the power cores.

After that boot the PC, you should be able to boot, but you will get no boot device and no RAM error. Also check the BIOS version, like http://www.wikihow.com/Check-BIOS-Version

Back to the problem. ( *Make sure what cpu...
So i got : Windows 10 64 bit
Gigabyte 970 A-DS3P MOBO
COOLERMASTER G550 M PSU
SAPPHIRE R9 270 DUAL X
AMD 8385 ? Or the 6300 something its a six core
And then a seagate 500 gb hdd
And 2x4 kingston Beast ram

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out..yesterday my brother pulled off the hard drive and put it back in and it worked ..we thought it was the Hd having the problem . Now same thing wont get pass the wondows logo

Back to the problem. ( *Make sure what cpu you had, for fx 6300 do nothing, for fx 8xxx, you should disable the cores first.) If your PC can boot without the HDD/RAM, and shut down the PC, add one stick memory then boot the PC again. If the PC can boot again, shut down and add the HDD with win10 ( make sure the HDD connected to the 1st SATAIII port, may check the manual ), and boot the PC again.

Now if you get the same thing after you connected the HDD, the PC will not pass the windows logo, that means either the HDD or the OS file has problem. If you had other HDD, try reinstall the win10 in it, and try to run the PC.
