Cant find USB 3.0 ports on M5a97 le r2.0 Motherboard

I really cant find it. There is no port next to the dram slots or next to the psu...
Also i cant find where my sereal ata or ac97 cables go?! Please help!

Read the manual.

I do not think you have front usb 3.0 ports, Just the ones on the back.

The sata ports are quite easy to see on the board. They are white.

sorry i fixed it, it's ac97.

Also yeah so i don't have to connect tthe front usb 3.0 wire to anything. The back ones will still work?

Okay disregaurd the ATA thing, i figured out that its for an external sata

you can use an adapter to make the front USB 3.0 ports run at 2.0 speed if you wish. The rear ones will work for sure.

This is just what google comes up with, but you can get adapters like this from several online stores.

They make the front ports work as usb 2.0 ports. that is better than nothing.
