Question cant fix boot MRB Or remove resrictions

I have a perowned dell optiplex 780 desktop. Im trying to fix the MBR but nothing works. I used the repair disk it could nt . tried comp doen't recognize the commands. tried restore but says ther are no images. I'm also trying to get the restriction remove spend day on web nothing works. I donen't want to have to reinstall and go through all the updating. Can anyone help. Ive put the drive in another pc It says window is on the disk. Thanks

This is Windows 7 we're talking about, you're going to have to reinstall the OS while the existing OS is present so you will end up with an .old folder in which all your current documents and files will reside, if you're concerned about retrieving important files. Other than that, yeah nothing else will work so you're going to have to reinstall the OS from scratch.

The options for recovery aren't exactly perfected with Windows 10 either but people have already learned to backup their content if things went sideways.
