Cant format hp EVO d10

Have been trying to format my desktop Hp Compaq Evo D510 from my xp disk
Every time i try i get an error saying that its non system disk. Have tried different disks with the same error but the disks are working well with other computers. How do I format the desktop?..any ideas are welcome

You have to set the computer to boot from the Windows XP CD - go into BIOS Setup and configure the boot sequence so that the CD/DVD drive is the first boot device. Currently it's set to boot from the hard drive, hence the error.
