Question Cant get 120hz on Predator XB241H Monitor

So I connected my Lenovo Y700 laptop to my Acer Predator XB241H with and HDMI cable which I assume is 2.0 since its 4k enabled. For the life of me I cant get 120hz to work. Display settings on the intel igpu show up to 60hz. This monitor goes up to 180hz (with display port) but also 120hz with hdmi. What am I missing?

G-Sync monitors are limited to 60 Hz over HDMI.
