Can't get 3 monitors to work

I recently purchased a new computer with a GTX 780. I searched around and seem confident that I can run 3 monitors with this. I am trying to use 2 DVI ports and 1 HDMI port. The HDMI connects and I am able to watch my mouse run off screen, but the monitor comes up with no display. Do i need an adapter or possibly a program?

Was the monitor set to the right input? I'm just going to delete it if it's something simple like that.
