I have a Philips 55" 4k TV (55pfl5402/f7) attached to a Geforce GTX670 via HDMI on the TV side, through a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-4096x2160p-Converter-Desktops-Monitors/dp/B07YL8WH93) that promises 60Hz 4K, into the DisplayPort port on my GTX670. The cable is also from Amazon and rated HDMI 2.0. Nevertheless, I cannot get more than 30Hz when running at native resolution. I've tried changing it through the OS video options, and the nVidia Control Panel, but neither offers higher than 30Hz. Suggestions?

Edit: Also, even though I'm running an adapter into the DP port on my 670, nVidia Control Panel says I'm using HDMI.

Turns out the adapter is passive, not active. Also, can't get a clear answer on whether the Zotac GTX 670 4GB uses DisplayPort 1.4, or just 1.2. Sadly, will just have to save up for the GTX 1650S...

Final solution: The TV in question has an option deep inside the Settings menu that by default locks the TV into 30Hz. Changing that made everything work.
