[SOLVED] Can't get 60 Hz in 4096x2160 on ASUS Radeon 390x DisplayPort

I know this question already was created but I did not find a solution. I have a video card ASUS Radeon 390x. I connected a 4K TV LG OLED55CX3LA on DisplayPort->HDMI with high speed cable "Goobay 71962" . The max frequency in resolution 4096x2160 is 30Hz. The operation system is Windows 7. All Windows updates are installed. I have the newest Adrenalin version 21.5.2 (also tried with older versions). HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color is turned on. I asked Asus support about this situation, they said it's because of DisplayPort limitations but they couldn't tell the exact version of DisplayPort. So if I have the lowest version of DisplayPort I should have possibility to run 2.5 K at 75 Hz but I also can't. How can I get 60 Hz in 4096x2160 resolution? Thank you

you have stated that your cable is only capable of 30Hz
but you are wondering why you can't get 60Hz?

Asus support about this situation, they said it's because of DisplayPort limitations but they couldn't tell the exact version of DisplayPort.

those cards came with Display Port 1.2.

So you still think it's a problem in the cable? Your suggestion is to buy HDMI cable and use DisplayPort adapter? I have to be sure if this really will solve the problem. Thanks.

Yes Club3D adapter, be it DP 1.2 or 1.4, depending what's available to you. Either will work. Then run any high speed Hdmi cable from that.

these two statements totally contradict themselves.
the max frequency at 2160 is 30Hz,
but for some reason 2160 @ 60Hz is supposed to work?

As I understood good, the adapter must be active.

The Lindy cable worked, now I can get 60 Hz at 4K but AMD FreeSync is "Not supported" and I can't change the "Pixel format", is it OK? Thank you

Pixel format is set to what the cable, or moreover, the conversion is able to support. Freesync is dropped from Hdmi to DP or vice versa sadly. It's either Hdmi to Hdmi or DP to DP for Freesync (no conversion).
