Can't get computer to pick up microphone sound

I recently purchased a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1X's and I can't get the headset mic to work on my desktop. I've tried it on my phone and lap top and it works, I've tried different headsets/mics in the same ports and they work. I've tried reinstalling Realtek drivers from there website and my motherboards and that doesn't fix it, So I'm beyond confused and need some help to hopefully try and fix this issue.

Did you make sure the headset is set to default audio device under recording tab?
