Can't get cpu cooler on all the way...

Only able to screw in 2 of the 4 screws to secure my h100i v2 onto my asus sabertooth x99
So I have one corner and the opposite corner, forming only half of the X.
Not sure what to do? Can't really seem to force it so I booted and it works 😵

Make sure you have the cooler seated properly and the correct bracket. There is no reason why it should not fit.

When seating the pump, work an X pattern. Just barely start the screws. If you tighten opposing screws, the remaining 2 won't reach. As you found out. Just 3-4 turns, then move to next screw and keep going until all 4 bottom out.

Don't turn the pc back on until the cooler is seated properly.

That would be African engineering at best, not the other wording, and the answer is no, it's damned expensive if you start screwing things up through a laxadasical build.
