Hi everyone, I recently built my first PC but I haven't been able to get a display on my vga monitor with the GTX 1080, I have tried all connections (DVI to HDMI, HDMI, HDMI to VGA etc...) but still no display. I would really appreciate some help as I have been trying to figure this out for months, thanks.

Greetings!

What CPU are you using? Does it have onboard Intel Graphics? If so, your system may be defaulted to use the onboard graphics of the CPU. Maybe you already tried this, but plug your monitor into the HDMI out on your motherboard and see if you get a signal to your monitor. If you do, you just need to go into your BIOS/UEFI and set it to use the dedicated graphics.

Hope this helps!
