The thing is the front audio jack is not working on the case. Well if I plug in headphones into the audio jack, I can hear the audio from the right ear but the left ear just has static. Im not 100% sure if it is the mobo or the case since I dont have spare motherboards and cases laying around. Anything have something like this happen to them?

I notice that when I move my mouse around, the static gets louder and dies down when I dont move my mouse and increases a little bit when I enter keys on my keyboard. Could this be because the the mobo is short circuited since I wasnt grounded properly when I installed it?

Solution
1| Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS, connected peripherals and audio equipment?
2| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date as should be the case with your device drivers?
3| If it's possible you should try and connect off the rear audio ports to see if the same is present and if the latter produces the same results then there is an issue with your audio drivers/OS/both. Might I ask if you're on Windows 10? On another note, do you have access to other headphones/headsets to rule out a faulty pair of cans?
4| You mentioned not being grounded while installing the board...if the board does the same thing outside of chassis , breadboarded then you may have problem and should contact your seller.
