Question Can't get full internet speed on my desktop PC

I have a 100/50 Mbps connection. When I connect via wifi on my laptop, I get the full speed, but when I connect via ethernet on my desktop, I get 60/40. I tried turning the wifi off on my laptop and connecting it to the router with the same ethernet cable I use for my desktop and I again got full speed on the laptop.

Any idea why I wouldn't be getting full speed on my desktop? I'd previously had a 10 Mbps connection and I used to get full 10 on my desktop. That connection is still active, the ISP hasn't turned it off yet, and when I connect to the old router, I still get the full 10 on my desktop.

What motherboard are you using? Is that (the integrated NIC) the network interface card you are using also?

Yes, I'm using the integrated card. The MB, according to system information, is 760GM-P21(FX) (MS-7641).
