Can't get google search usuig Chrome browser in Windows 10.

I bought laptop with W10 preinstalled. I changed Edge to Chrome browser. I want to search in Google. I've enabled Bing2Google and Chrometana extension. I use yahoo for Homepage.That still searches in yahoo and the Ask me Anything in tabs still searches in Bing. Any suggestions? Thanks

So you have installed chrome but do you use chrome? in which browser is the yahoo set as homepage? something is not clear, at least to me.

I have w10 and never faced any of those problems with chrome. Also i have never seen anyone having problems using google search on Google's Chrome.

I use Chrome Browser as my default browser and thats all I use. Also as mentioned above when I search in start it opens to Bing search.
I read that the Chrometana extension would take care of that.
