I build my first PC earlier today and everything went well. Although I noticed that when trying to play a game (Oblivion) it didn't show my GPU on the devices, I just get the standard vga adapter and nothing else. My GPU is a Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 and my motherboard is the Asus M5A97 Pro.

Someone please help me out, I've even tried putting the card into the other PCIe slot but still nothing.

Make sure you have your monitor plugged into your 6870, make sure the 6870 is in the PCI-E slot closest to the CPU (but refer to your motherboard manual for definite answer), and go into BIOS and see if you see default/first graphics processor and select PCI-E.

Ok I've gone on to the BIOS and I have the option of PEG/PCI or PCI/PEG. Which do I choose?
