as the title says i have a Inspiron 7786 2-in-1

weird part is I tried this 2 days ago i couldn't get it to work

then yday i switched some settings around again and then i was able to boot to USB and see the HDD's so I installed Win 10

I upgraded the BIOS/UEFI this morning and now back to not being able to boot to legacy HDD's

I have never had this bad of an issue

for reference I am a network admin not a noob =)

the only settings I can see that would affect this would be the below settings

#1 "advanced boot options" it is set to "enable legacy option ROMs" & "Enable attempt legacy boot"
#2 "sata Operation" is set to "AHCI" (this is also the setting in which I installed the O.S. previously)
#3 "Drives" this is checked for every available box "sata-0, sata-2, M.2 PCIe SSD-0, M.2 PCIe SSD-1"
#4"smart Reporting" is off (unchecked)
#5"PTT Security" is off
#6 "secure boot enable" is off (unchecked)
#7 "Secure boot mode" is at "audit mode" (deployed or audit mode only options)
#8 "fast boot mode" is set to Auto

there are no admin passwords set

somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
