Cant get into bios

Specs:
Ryzen 5 1600 gonna upgrade after gpu (maybe)
8gb g skill ram
750 ti gonna upgrade to 1070 ti or 1080
Msi b350 tomahawk

I got all my parts new except for the mother board, ram, and gpu.
I had my ram and gpu in a previous build and they were working fine. When i try to turn on the computer it goes straight onto a screen that says reboot off of selected boot device or something like that. And when i plugged in my windows 10 installer usb it goes to that. When i press del a bunch of times it just goes to a screen with a _ flashing and nothing else. Also the vga led is turned on, on the mother board. Any solutions other than cmos reset as i dont have a jumper.

No it goes straight to a black screen with a dash (-) in the top left

- Try hitting your motherboard dedicated bios keyboard shortcut quickly as soon as you boot your PC.
- Try switching your display cable from your GPU to your iGPU (motherboard integrated display output ports) or the other way around and reboot.

Done all of that before but it only goes to a black screen. Anyway i can enter it off of the windows trouble shoot page where it says uefi settings and comand prompt etc.

I have removed it and tried sorry for the confusion, i meant i am able to get through to the windows 10 installer but when it is not in i am not able to get to anything. If i go buy a jumper cap would that fix the issue?

Keeps on booting up and says "reboot and select proper boot device" which i know how to do but not able to as i cant enter bios or boot option

Still dosnt work but btw my vga led is stil on and it stays on.

Reset cmos by removing the battery. Unplug from wall. Hold down power button for 20 seconds. Pull out battery. Count to 60+. Reinstall.

What gets me is the jumper. If that board is typical like most other boards with a 3pin cmos reset, there should be a jumper on 1-2 leaving 3 blank. To reset cmos, you move the jumper to 2-3, count to 10, move the jumper back to 1-2. Then restart the pc.

Ugh do you think i should send it to msi, cause this thing just wont let me do anything i even tried reseting cmos and it showsthe same thing. "Reboot and selct proper boot device".

You said remove twice what exactly do you mean? Remove unplug from wall put it in then remove and reinstall? Also its a two pin

Did it multiple times but it wont reset

you can carefully use a metal tip to short jumper instead of jumper cap if not available.

Im just gonna give up, gonna go buy a new motherboard when ever i see it on sale. Thanks for your help tho!
