Question Can't get into my BIOS on a Gigabyte Z70XP SLI motherboard.

I am trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11. My PC passed all the tests except TPM. When I boot up if I hold down the DEL key or click on the key as soon as I see the Gigabyte UltraDurable screen, it locks up. Too long and it boots up. Help, please.

include your complete system specs with make & model of all components.

and don't hold the key.
keep repeatedly pressing as soon as the system powers on and the command should be recognized.
if not, it's possible your keyboard isn't being initiated until after the option has passed.

there are options to boot to a "setup" screen from within Windows.
from here you should also be able to access the BIOS.
you would have to look up what actions to use from within the OS.

why it would lock up could be due to a corrupt BIOS that just freezes when accessed.
try using the motherboard control software to update to the newest available BIOS from within your OS.

Thanks. I finally had to create a boot disk. It boots slower then. I forgot that when I changed from hard drives to Samsung it booted up too fast.
