[SOLVED] Can't get my 5950x past 4.8Ghz - why?

Hi guys

According to Ryzen master I'm hitting.4.8Ghz and that's it. I can't get it to go higher. Any idea why?

I'm running 3200 Mhz ram. I've got really good cooling and airflow (Meshify C, NH D15 and good case fans) and at 4.8GHz I'm getting temps of 70 degrees c.

Sounds right AMD say max boost speed is 4.9 but that is not guaranteed.

yes, but on release day there were quite a few reviews saying they were getting 5Ghz with stock settings.

A few is not a very big number of users, all chips are different. That is why AMD said UP TO 4.9 and that is on a single core.

Just saw it get past 4,900MHz . Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaa!!

Am getting this CPU and want to know if after effects ram preview is real time with effects applied using 128gb ddr4 ram and gen 4 m.2v2tb and etc 2080 ti please tell me how it will perform without overclocking
