Hey all, I just got a new TV for Christmas, a Panasonic TX-40DX600B, which is a 4k TV, to replace my older 1080p TV.
My old TV was connected to my PC via HDMI, and work perfectly, and still does.
But, this new fandangled TV simply doesn't detect my PC input, nor does my PC detect the TV.
My old graphics card, an AMD HD 6870 isn't capable of 4k resolution, but it can do 1080p fine, and has been for roughly 4 years.
I assume that shouldn't be a problem, as the TV will need to accept 1080p input from Blu-ray players, and consoles and stuff. (Not that I own any).
My PC says "default monitor" with a maximum resolution of 1600x1200.
And the TV just acts like nothings there.
Tried all 3 HDMI slots on the TV.
My graphics card only has 1 HDMI slot.
Help!
Super Muppet Edit:
My god, I need coffee immediately.
I was testing 2 separate HDMI cables, and managed to plug in the opposite cable 3 bloody times. Lol
It works now. -_-
I'm going to bed.
