Hi guys,

I've just finished my pc build, and once i started my pc it booted into the bios. All good. I inserted the usb stick, assuming that I would be able to install windows from it. Nothing has worked, ive tried chaning bios settings to be able to boot it, but it doesnt work.

My motherboard is Gigabyte z390 ud

Which USB? Did you create your own bootable media? Did you buy one?

I downloaded the windows 10 file from microsoft, uploaded it into my usb stick, and inserted it into my pc.

My pc specs are as follows:

Gigabyte z390 ud
i5 9400f
nvidia gtx 960 4gb
psu tx 650m
16gb ballistix ram
500gb 970 evo plus ssd

How did you create the bootable USB drive? Did you just copy the image file to the USB, or did you use a tool such as Windows "Media Creation Tool"? (or command prompt can also be used)

In other words, did you actually create a bootable USB, or did you just copy the file to the USB?

I won't work if it's not created as a bootable drive
