Can't get over 60 fps on Far Cry 4?

I thought upgrading to a gtx 1080 and an i7 4790k would give me a beast gaming set up but when I load up Far Cry 4 on max settings, I still can't get over a stable 60 fps... Am I doing something wrong? I'm a 1080p gamer too... I play 1920x1080 for all my games.. I thought the gtx 1080 was gonna be amazing?

That should absolutely murder Far Cry 4, do you have Vertical Sync on? Or, say, a frame cap/limit? If so, turn vertical sync off, and set any cap limit to its highest setting/uncapped.

You mus to have VSYNC on, or a frame rate limited enabled in the nvidia control panel, which are capping you to 60FPS.
