[SOLVED] can't get past 100mbps

son I have a b250 pro vh as a motherboard, and in the specifications says that it has gigabit ethernet (GBE), but when I go to the network properties it says that it only runs to a max of 100 mbps, does anyone know if this is a problem or it's just auto-adaptable, so when I have more than a 100mbps con go to gigabit?

You need to have GBE on both sides of the ethernet cable in order to have any use of it.
