Can't get past POST

Specs: Processor: FX 8350
Motherboard: M5A78L-M
Graphics Card: RX 480 4gb oc
PSU: EVGA Bronze 500w
Ram: Corcair 8gb ram

Allows me to turn on computer, all fans running except my graphic's card's fans turn on and off but look as if they're always on. Switched through two different motherboards of the same type to see if that was the problem, on the other motherboard it wouldn't even reach post. I can't do anything on post, no buttons seem to work. Keyboard and mouse light up. Tried taking out the cmos battery to reset the bios for about 30min. My situation was getting a new graphics card, I know for a fact I have no igpu in my motherboard however my computer still managed to work without a gpu or igpu. I myself don't understand that part because it shouldn't have even booted. It however did and was on for about 4 hours before I turned it off. Next day I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't get past post. I assumed this was because I didn't have my gpu yet and I waited yet another day to get my gpu. When I finally got it I made sure the gpu was fully placed into its seat. Now it still only hits POST. Only thing that changed in my system was the switch between a GTX 750ti, going two days without a gpu or igpu then attempting with the rx480. Please help.

Hello,
Can you enter the bios? Did you try to start your PC without HDD, optical drives and no usb devices (except keyboard)? Also try with only 1 stick of RAM.

Unable to enter bios, its asif it freezes right then and there. Will attempt to do all of this when I get home (in about 10hrs)

Have you tried a different PSU? I've had a few systems boot up but not post with a faulty PSU. Have you also tried to boot again using your old GPU? Or maybe try a different display?

I recently installed an older GPU on a friends store bought PC and it wouldn't post at all. Even when I tried using the onboard graphics, with the GPU installed, I wasn't able to get a post. Once I removed the GPU I still couldn't get a post. It wasn't until my friend took his PC back home, removed the GPU I gave him AND connected it back to his own monitor that he was able to get his computer to post. I've never seen anything like that when I was building and repairing PC's but computers are like human bodies: no two are alike and you never know how even a minor thing will affect them.

My rule of thumb when troubleshooting or repairing a system is that more than half of all PC problems are from a bad PSU. With a bad RAM stick a close second. And with either of those you'll sometimes get a bootup but not a post which will always make you think it's something else since "why would it bootup if the PSU is bad? Shouldn't it not bootup at all"?
