I've recently decided to build a pc and after getting stumped with some wiring on the first day, I finished it on the second. I've found that except having to do some cable management, I thought everything was connected. I turned it on and found all my fans were spinning, leds came on, and I thought I was done. I hooked a monitor up and No Signal came up. I don't have a hdd but an ssd, and the "hdd light" on the top of my case didn't come on either. The SATA cable is connected to my ssd and my motherboard and the power cable is connected to my power supply and the ssd aswell. If anyone knows whats going on or if you need pictures I can get some. I'm pretty scared I did something wrong as a first time builder. Thanks.

The card you have does not have a power pin input you are correct, It pulls all power from the PCI. If you still cannot get display, try the cmos reset. If that does not work I would try the card in another computer just to make sure its not the card.

Also does your PSU provide enough power on your 12v rail?
Make sure your card has power, If using a dedicated card make sure its set in the slot correctly and tight, Put the display cables coming from your card if using 1. If you are also go into your BIOS and set your primary video from your PCI rather than onboard.

IF ALL THIS IS TAKEN CARE OF THEN

Now this is a CMOS reset, this will reset the computer bios and components all back to default, So they should work 100% and this typically fixes no display.

Turn off computer, Remove power from the wall, Hold the power button for 15 SECONDS!

Now remove the card, Remove the watch battery, This is the cmos battery.
When the battery is out of the computer HOLD the power button for 15 SECONDS! (if you have cmos jumpers, jump both the cmos pins with the battery removed and hold it for 15 seconds.

now plug it all back in and start up computer. Your issue should be resolved.

if your issue was not resolved this means it has something to do with the CARD itself.

1. My msi 1050ti doesn't seem to have a place to put power? Also, how can I get to the BIOS if I can't connect to a monitor?

Your card has a 6 PIN power input, it should be directly connected to the board underneath the heatsink, It could be on the end of the card, or on the side. Find this connector and power it with your PSU in order for it to work. Link to CARD DETAILS REGARDING POWER CONNECTION

And in order to get into the bios, Plug directly into the motherboard rather than through the card, this will get you to the BIOS.

This is the 6 pin connector.

This is my card:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137056&cm_re=gtx_1050ti-_-14-137-056-_-Product
Sorry If I'm being blind but I can't see the 6pin power input. Also, when I plug in my monitor to the motherboard, I still get no signal. Could this be a problem with the ssd? Should I try again with my gpu taken out?
