Recently got a computer my cousin built. got all new HDD and SSD and trying to install windows 10 on SSD. i plug in the flash drive with media tool and it loads a little bit then goes in to a restart loop saying "your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart. we'll restart it for you." and keeps doing this. ive tried two seperate flash drive but both yield the same result. Any idea why? please help.

its possible you have fast boot enabled in bios and a feature of that is it won't boot off USB, as its default setting is partial initial which just covers Keyboard/mouse.

Here is the manual - https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-AR/E10395_Z170-AR_UM_WEB.pdf

have a look on page 2-52 and set USB support to Full initial on the Boot tab in Advanceed view of BIOS

you may also need to turn off Secure boot, its on same page in BIOS. Try the Fast Boot fix first. Its not a simple matter of turning it off.
