Cant get permission to copy any of the file to my drive

Hello,
it says access denied whenever i try to copy any file on my f drive. .
plz help

Well, it looks like the file have association on that drive, like movie file that u played and the player is still on, so the file is still tied up. Close the player and it should be fine.

I was gonna say permission issues, taking ownership should work.

Did you by any chance either reinstall windows or take f: from another machine(or even a external drive, if external you may want to give the Everyone group access to the drive so you can pass it from machine to machine)? If you did the NTFS permissions do not lineup and you need to take ownership like above(never did it that way, but see no reason for it not to work.) or through the security tab under properties.
