I got some new 2666MHz ram, but i can only get it to run at 2133mhz. Everytime i change anything to do with ram, either DOCP or manually changing the speeds my pc does not work, i either get the pc not even turning on, except for the LEDs or i get sent to an american megatrends screen telling me my overclocking failed. What should i do? Am i missing a step?
My mobo is Asus prime b350m-a

Ryzen is known to have problems with RAM, so if you ended up getting RAM that wasn't on your motherboard's QVL, it's definitely not out of the question that you weren't able to get rated speeds. I was only able to hit 2933 on my 3200MHz Trident Z RGB.

Do a BIOS update if you're not on the latest version.
