Question Can't get RGB to change colors ?

I have a MSI Velox 100R case, with a Aorus Master B660 DDR4 motherboard. The case came with 4 ARGB fans and a led strip on the side with an MSI controller.

Plugged everything in: fans turn, lights come on (one rainbow, two green, and one blue; and the led strip in the side is green). Plugged the 3pin ARGB header into the the motherboard D_LED 3 pin.

Pressing the LED button on the case did nothing. Holding it down did nothing. Changing the settings on RGBFusion from the Aorus app center did nothing (to the fans, motherboard lighting worked perfectly.

Ok, fine. The controller's probably broke. Get another one from Razer. Hooked it all up, but still, nothing changes the lighting colors. Ok, fine. Maybe the motherboard headers are broke. Got a controller with a remote. Still nothing. Pressing the remote does nothing. Pressing the attached button does nothing. Still a big no on RGBFusion.

So, I'm pretty much out of ideas. The fans are definitely getting power, they light up. They're all different colors, so the lights are able to change colors. And even if they are only one color and I got random ones, the side LED should still be able to change colors.

So, I'm stuck. Please help!

Just tried it. Didn't work =(. Even tried the Gigabyte command center. Also didn't work.

Tried the fixes for the RGBFusion, and all that did was make it so that it wouldn't recognize my GPU.

But, thanks for the recommendation.

You are welcome.

Not sure what else to suggest: there may be other ideas and comments.

Overall though my sense is that because of a lack of RGB standards, plus some really shoddy products, it is not surprising that some RGB installations simply fail to fully work. Proprietary and otherwise.

Considering other likely issues such as cost cutting design and manufacturing along with marginal "supporting" software then it all gets more problematic.

Too many potential culprits.....
