for a few days now I've had a problem with inserted ads into webpages. Usually its adperformancenetworks but I also get adk2x and a couple of others. Its particularly annoying because it's interfering with some widgets that I need for work. It affects both chrome and firefox.
I tried all the steps suggested here, but it doesn't find anything.

The only step I couldn't run was the combofix, since i'm running windows 10. Again nothing worked.
I also ran Hitman Pro, which found open candy, but even after quarantining that, the problem persists.
Anything else I can try?
