I just bought this monitor, and it says very clearly in the amazon description (linked below) that it can run 4K at 60 hz over HDMI 2.0. But I've tried both HDMI ports on this sucker and windows does not give me the option to run at 4K and 60 hz. It maxes out at 30 hz.
Is there something that I'm missing here? Is the problem perhaps my laptop? I have a ThinkPad Yoga with an nVidia Geforce 940m. Do I need a better graphics card in order to run 4K at 60 hz on HDMI? The laptop does not have DisplayPort otherwise I would just use that.
Along this line - is this also the reason why "Freesync" is grayed out on the monitor settings?
Thanks in advance for the help.
