Cant get stable 60fps no mater settings in FarCry5 with good rig

I have a gtx1060 6gb and i5 7400 and i cant manage to get 60 fps consistently no matter how high or low the settings are its always stuttering from 35-50 fps. Is there a way to fix this? ( it only happens in this game the rest of the games work perfectly)

Your processor appears to be holding you back, the change in settings having no effect also points to this.
If you raise your settings it might take some of the strain off of the processor and put it on the GPU.

Raising settings still puts MORE load on the CPU; it doesn't make the CPU do less work. All you're doing is performing proportionally more work on the GPU, thus hiding the fact the CPU is still overburdened.

In any case, older i7's are starting to show their age a bit. I wouldn't expect users to be able to activate all the little bells and whistles on newer programs, though I'd imagine high presets should still be attainable.

It didn't help just made the game run a bit worse than before

Is the heatsink fan of your cpu running correctly?

Check the temperatures but I expect this is simply a cpu limitation.
