Cant get the GPU in?

Hello,

I have just recently bought a XFX HD6450 and I seem not to be able to get it in. The PCIE slots are all perfict.

I think the issue is that the case has got a chunk of metal in the slot side that stops me from slotting it in...

Make sure you put the gpu the right way in, it will fit only one way and make sure the little switch on the end of the pci slot you use to fasten the gpu is open. Otherwise get your grinder i think.

You did take the bracket out first before you tried to install the Graphics card right?

yeah the piece of metal that pushes out of the case where the card screws in., you need to do that by the sound of it.

Hello,

I have taken the bracket out, and ive also put it the right way round...

The issue is that the front bit wont all go in...as the sides dont slide in. Ill get a pic.
