I currently have a Ryzen threadripper 2950x and X399M Taichi.

I can boot into BIOS, but everytime I try to boot into the windows installer two things can happen:
Screen will freeze on blue windows logo with white dots, or the white dots will spin endlessly. I've tried several sticks of ram, also two of the same mobo with the same results. I've updated the Bios. I've tried several USBs, one of which I just used to install windows on a different PC. Not sure what else to do. Any help?

Solution
since i can't see any of those on QLV or ram even close to them on there from Kingston or Samsung, that could be the reason its not working

Have you updated the bios?

have you tried a ubuntu LIve USb to confirm it is just windows - https://itsfoss.com/create-live-usb-of-ubuntu-in-windows/

Can you get a copy of win 10 1909 installer and try that as I have seen odd errors with people trying to install version 2004
Hi, thank you for responding. Bios is updated. I tried launching unbuntu and tailsOS through two different usb drives, both have the same result: Initial splash screen with count down to automatic launch, then I'm left with a blinking cursor in the corner of my screen with a black screen.

Try with single ram module.
Turn off any ram overclocking (disable A-XMP).
Thanks for the suggestion, gave it a try but same result.

Sounds to me like there is fault with motherboard, if its new I would get a replacement

Or contact the Maker of motherboards and ask them, since you tried 3.
This one came from amazon, last one came with the cpu, both had the exact same result so I have a hard time believing it's a bad mobo. Thinking I need to tweak the bios settings, but I have no idea what I'm doing there. I also contacted asrock for support, still waiting for an answer.

have you tested the other parts in a working PC to make sure they work

CPU - Ryzen threadripper 2950x
Motherboard - Asrock X399M Taichi.
GPU - 2060 super, 1650 super.
What ram? IS ram on mb QVL list?
What PSU?
Anything else?

Ryzen cpu (and I assume threadripper) as well are picky about ram, especially if it hasn't been tested with the board. Its possible more voltage might fix it, I am not sure about it though.
