Can't Go Into BIOS

Setup=8KHA+, AMD XP 1600+, 256MB Kingmax PC2400, Radeon VE 64MB, Aztech V90 PCI modem, running Win XP. This system worked fine UNTIL I tried to change the FSB/multiplier from 133/default(10.5) to 140/10 [both giving 1400MHz]. When I exited BIOS, nothing happened! The system hanged!!

I tried to reboot but nothing happened again! Well, the norm is that, if the settings is wrong/etc, a reset would AT LEAST return you to the BIOS setup so that you could correct /adjust the problem. The 8KHA+'s POST error code returned 26 (which incidentally was stated as 'reserved' in the manual - NO HELP!).

What went wrong?? Appreciate anyone's help. Thanks in advance!

Is that post error code on the screen or a beep code ?
Trying to figure out how fare you get in the boot process.

No sleep reminds me of a favorite saying.

"When I die, I hope it is peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather.....and not like his screaming passengers".
