Can't hold left mouse click with old AND new mouse

Hello guys,

so I've had an old mouse where I couldn't hold left clicks and it would sometimes double click when I single click. I thought the days of that mouse were over, got a new one and the problem is still there. Reinstalling the drivers or plugging the mouse into other USB ports didn't do anything either. It's at times somewhat stable and 10 minutes later I can't even hold left click for a second no matter how often I try.

It might also be worth noting that I formatted my PC a short while ago and didn't have any problems before. Though I'm not certain that problems started showing up right after that.

Sorry for posting this twice, had connection issues and thought the thread wasn't submitted.

I forgot to mention that while I can't hold left mouse click I CAN hold right mouse clicks. What's going on?

Try going to your mouse settings in Windows and make sure that Click Lock is off in the additional settings.
