I want to add ram to my APU, but when i enter the bios it will only let me go lower. (It says auto and 768, and when i disable auto i can only go up to 512.) Does anyone know how i could increase it. I run a A10 6700 with HD 8670D. I have 4 Gigs of ram and have a USB adding 4 gigs through ready boost.

Solution
Firstly, ReadyBoost doesn't add to your system RAM. It just acts as disk cache, and even then doesn't affect RAM or storage space.

The limitation your experiencing is probably by design. Your best bet to get more VRAM is to increase your system memory beyond 4GB.
