[SOLVED] Cant install anything to old HDD

I cant install or run anything from old hdd.
I upgraded my pc today, new cpu,mobo,win10 and ssd...

Has the HDD been formatted and assigned a new Drive letter? Also, try Crystaldisk info to see the state of your drive too. It will let you know if your drive is failing.

The hdd has "E" as letter and the storage is in good state ...

But i can still view e.g. pictures or any file. But i cant open like applications which are located in that hdd...

so it sounds like you just moved the HDD over to a new computer leaving the windows install from the old one intact instead of doing a clean install

That drive had a previous OS install, with all its applications?

Correct, you cannot use those. The new OS on Disk 1 knows nothing about them.
