cant install drivers on windows 8.1 for intel 4600

when i try and install the latest drivers it gives me errors like "your computer dose not meat minimum requirements" and "the driver is not validated for this computer" what do i do?

Lot of people are having issues with 4600 after the windows 8.1 update

Please tell us a little bit more about the computer, the drivers you are trying to install, if it is 32bit or 64bit and so on.

32it is a hp envy 64 bit and the Intel® Iris™ and HD graphics Driver for Windows 7/8/8.1* 64 driver

I had the same problem with a family memebers notebook. HPs support with 8.1 Drivers was a nightmare and I reverted the Notebook back to Win8.

Only thing I could tell you to do is to try and Install in Safe mode.

If yours came with the optional Nvidia GeForce graphics card, the Intel driver installation will of cause stop with an error message, because the Intel graphics is switched off. Do you use the preinstalled "HP Support Assistant" to update the drivers?
