Can't install Eavy browser umod

Archived from groups: alt.games.unreal.tournament2003 (More info?)

I'm trying to figure out how to install this, and I've tried:

cd g:\games\ut2004\system
setup install eavyserverbrowser.umod

I enter the above path and it tells me it can't find my installation. The
correct path is in the registry so I don't know what's going wrong.

BTW, setup was never registered as a handler for umods. Is that a UT2004
installation bug, or what?

The short answer:

@rem change to your ut2004 system directory
cd \games\ut2004\system
ucc umodunpack -x \tmp\EavyServerBrowser.umod

Your trying to install a UT99 Umod into UT2004?
Don't think that will work too well.. unless it has been updated.

Yeah, I'm now realizing that. I found that indeed a handler was registered,
but for ut4mod, not umod. Maybe if Eavy could provide source, we could
update it....
